I have been learning classical piano since the age of twelve and graduated from the School of Music in Moscow in 1994.
In 2013 I graduated from the Bishop Grosseteste University Lincoln with the Bachelor Of Arts In Education Studies And Music Upper Second Class Honours Degree. I gained some valuable academic achievements during my educational and music studies at BGU. I studied a range of diverse modules which focused on the history, psychology, sociology and philosophy of education, as well as music history, analysis and performance course dealing with a wide range of subjects including different topics relating to classical music from baroque times to the late 20th century, music technology and world music. Meanwhile I completed my placements in the primary and secondary settings with some positive comments regarding the quality of my education related work and professional appearance.
In 2011 I founded my first piano lessons at the local infants school. In 2012 I was offered to implement piano classes at the local junior school as well in Lincoln. Every academic year I encourage my piano pupils to perform piano duets and individual pieces at our annual Christmas and end of year Summer recitals in front of their parents, friends and school staff.
In 2016 I registered with ABRSM board and my first piano pupil achieved Grade 1in Piano and Music Theory results. Frequently for my professional development I tend to attend the following; ABRSM – music conferences, National Youth Orchestra – open days, and Incorporated Society of Musicians – webinars.
I also have been a member of the BGU choir since 2011 and performed with my choir in some significant venues such as, Lincoln Cathedral, Winchester Cathedral, Southwell Minster, BG Chapel and others.
I teach piano, keyboard and music theory, and have the knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to inspire students of all ages in their study of music in order to achieve grades. However I can also provide lessons to those who wish to learn to play their favourite songs or pieces of music purely for pleasure.
